MEN’S AIR STRUCTURE TRIAX+ 11: TRIALER #1

Trialer: I am a man's who runs approximately 30 miles per week, mostly on the track.

What three features are most important for you in a running shoe?
Comfort (I indigence a big toebox), lightweight and style.

What were your initial thoughts after fatiguing it on?
Initially, the forefoot fit seemed tighter than with my regular shoe, primarily around the ball of my foot. My toes had less “wiggle lodgings” than I prefer as well. Length felt fine. The remnant fit was tighter than I prefer, but provided a good sense of hold and support. Just perhaps too much grip. Overall, I’m not certain if I got a half size too small for my feet. Cushioning was supportive and very agreeable, but snugger than I am used to so I was concerned that I might get blisters. Fit was looser without socks, but this is not my  customary running style.

What did you think of the fit and feel after your first run? After several runs?

Cape dresses = comfortable

What do you consider of when you hear the term “cape dress”? Do you even discern exactly what this is?

A cape dress is a hand made dress with a provide for called a cape over the body. It can be attached or separate. They time have a zipper up the center of the back. They hang well below the knee. Sleeves are at least to the elbows and often 3/4 or full extended sleeves. Necklines are high and can be with out without a collar.

Old fashioned, cautious, fuddy-duddy, repressed are terms some use to describe both the dresses and women who rub off last them. I would doubt if anyone who said these has ever worn one. If they would, they may change their minds.  After wearing them, I esteem comfortable and modest to describe them. While the fit will vary between pattern, the cape dresses and other unassuming dresses I have are the most comfortable clothes I own. In fact, I just ordered 6 more.

Mantle dresses are most often associated with the conservative Christian denominations of Mennonite and Amish. Other Anabaptist groups such as Old German Baptist use cape dresses as well. There are several differences between them however. The Amish dresses tend to be of a solid indefinite color. The cape and apron are separate and worn over the top of the rhythmical dress. Mennonite cape dresses often have prints on the fabric. The cloak is attached and sewn on at the shoulders and waist. They usually don’t have an apron. I was once told by a Mennonite broad that she could tell generally what church others attended by the dress she wore. Generally speaking women tend to make dresses from similar patterns, writing size and type of others in their church or district.

At first glance, most cape dresses seem similar. After spending 2 weeks in a conservative Mennonite community last summer, I was impressed with the tremendous choice of dresses the ladies wore. They were all conservative, long, mostly cape dresses or prairie dresses (large, modest dress without a cape). However neck shape, collars, sleeves, buttons, pleats made each original.

Success!

I brought my sewing manufacture to the repair place right after work today (they termination at 6pm), and was told by the front desk woman that they have a big backlog and are scheduling people for repairs the first week of December.  I asked how much a nick of a bobbin winder would run me and described the problem.  She went in the back and got the working order guy and I told him what the problem was and how I used to be able to tap it and it went, but now nothing seems to trade.  He took the little plastic cappy item off and squirted some oil in and now it works good as new.  Yay!  He didn't bid me for it, but I'll be sure to bring my business there when I have real maintinance to be done.  Which might be quickly... I've had the thing 3 years and haven't brought it in for a pay attention to up yet... think I'm supposed to do that annually...  possibly the next time I'm scheduled 2 months in advance for a business visit I'll arrange to have it serviced while I am gone. 

Then I went to the St. Vincent de Paul Josh and I visited on Sunday (which was about 3 blocks away) and purchased the beautiful plum dress that I tried on on Sunday but didn't buy... only to invent once we got home that Josh was really disappointed I didn't get it.  And now I will take a second to mention how wacked out women's clothing sizes are.  In the last 4 days I have purchased two very drawing dresses that fit me very well.  The first was a size 6 and the second was a size 10.  Granted they were both lacing-up-the-back dresses, so that means a little extra give in the sizing, but still.  WTF? 

And for ever I stopped by REI which was also on the way home and returned the duplicate sleeping bag (I ordered one for pronunciation to the store, and then it went on back order temporarily, but they still had ones in estimate so I just bought one... then my order showed up before I had a imperil to cancel it).  Also, said sleeping bag has...
